Frequently Asked Questions

We want to make sure you feel welcome when you come here. Here’s what you can expect when you visit Solid Rock Assembly:

What’s The Music Like?

We believe that Sunday mornings are for celebrating the Savior! So, we go vertical through energized and Spirit-filled worship music. If the experience happens to be a little too loud for your preference, we also provide ear plugs so that you can still enjoy the celebration.

What’s The Teaching Like

Our teaching is simple, practical, and relevant to our daily lives. We read through the whole Bible, line-by-line, as a church, and then teach from a portion of the Scripture that was read that previous week.

What Should I Wear?

Wear what you want! Whether it’s a 3-piece suit, or shorts and flip flops, we want you to be comfortable to be who you are and focus on connecting with God. The Bible says in 1 Samuel 16:7, God doesn’t look at the outward appearance, but He looks at the heart. So, if He doesn’t consider your attire a major concern, neither do we!

What About My Kids During Church?

Because we don’t skip over any controversial topics in the Bible, we created our Children ministry to teach all kids so that they can worship and receive a biblical teaching more suitable for their age. All Children Ministry teachers and servants have cleared a thorough background check, and are biblically-trained to care for your kids. However, if you would prefer to be with your kids during the Worship Encounter, its OK.
